The folks in charge of casting HBO’s Game of Thrones is busy busy busy hiring hot, lusty characters quivering with desire for each episode. So it makes sense that the best people they can hire for these sexy roles would be porn-stars! Some of the big names in porn who have played sex workers on the show include Sahara Knight, Masie Dee, Jessica Jensen and Samantha Bentley. There’s also Sibel Kekilli who plays Shae, Tyrion Lannister’s girlfriend, a former porn-star and award-winning German actress who has a feature role in the show. But the show doesn’t only recruit porn-stars to play sex workers—there’s Australian adult actress Aeryn Walker who plays one of Craster’s wives. She says in an interview on the Daily Beast that she was initially nervous to act in the show, worrying people would think she only got the role because of her “nice tits” instead of for her acting abilities. 
So why is GOT so keen on hiring porn-stars to portray all the sexy shenanigans that goes down in the Seven Kingdoms? A former adult actress on the Daily Beast has some theories. First of all, these women are top-rate professionals at getting naked, and acting out graphic, passionate sex scenes on camera. It’s also true that they won’t ask to get paid any extra like other actresses for baring it all for audiences, and they always appear very comfortable when sitting around on set completely naked and ready for some naughty adult fun. And the last reason, they don’t get fazed about the almost certain fact of their co-stars getting a hard-on when humping and grinding during GOT’s frequent and extended sex scenes.
