New Sexting App Requires Consent From Both Parties

10817159986_3b12084857_zWhether you sext through Snapchat, Kik, Messenger, or good old fashioned text messages, it’s never been easier to share your junk online with another person. But as everyone knows, sharing something sexy comes with some hefty risks, like revenge porn. That’s why Rumuki is such a great idea: the two-sided intimate content-sharing app is taking the danger out of sexting.

It works by users taking videos to share with another person they’ve connected with, which are locked with two keys, one for each device, and encrypted to ensure they can only be played with the permission of each device. Rumuki fixes Snapchat’s issue of only allowing you to see a clip someone sends once, but unfortunately, it also suffers from being susceptible to screenshots. Thankfully, your content is never stored on or sent to Rumuki’s servers, which means you can rest assured hackers won’t break into the database to steal pics of your naughty bits. Rumuki is now free for download in the iOS store.
