Whiplr is a new app that is specially for those who want to have kinky sex. “The idea came from within the kink community. There simply wasn’t a mobile app for people to find and connect with other people into fetish and kink,” said Whiplr’s Chief Communications Officer, Daniel Sevitt.
Whiplr came on the scene just this year and right in time for Valentine’s Day. And since it’s so new, it’s still gaining users (time to sign up, kinky horny people!). It’s also location based, like Grindr, which means that you can find potential play partners close to you or farther away if you’re looking for more discretion. But most importantly, you can define your kinks according to various categories (objects, shopping, odors), but you are also free to discuss any aspects of your fetishes in private. Sevitt explains, “Kink is a journey and everyone should be free to be who they want to be and like what they want without someone else defining it for them.” Right on, Whiplr!
