Pornhub recently celebrated its 10th birthday, so to mark the occasion it released statistics on how porn has changed in the last decade (spoiler alert: a lot!). It found that the top three categories of all time are Amateur, Gay, and Blowjob, with Amateur remaining a big hit since Pornhub’s launch in 2007. Teen is also a popular category, but MILF has stayed popular longer, reigning supreme as the most searched category from 2012 to 2014.
But in 2015, the Lesbian category rose through the ranks to the top spot and has yet to be out-searched. Other interesting data: back in 2007, the average user would spend a grand total of 13 minutes and 46 seconds watching porn, while in 2017 the average user spends four minutes less time on the site, thanks to broadband internet. The site has also gone from 134 hours of uploaded porn to a whopping 476,000 hours of video. All that porn should make for some good celebrating!
