FEMA Accidentally Tweets Sex Hotline Number To Hurricane Victims

It seems in addition to necessities such as food and water, FEMA is also giving hurricane victims another important provision: sex. Instead of advice about their damaged roof, several Hurricane Irma survivors in Florida received phone sex when they called the 1-800 number recommended by FEMA’s Twitter account. FEMA mistakenly tweeted that the number to a helpline was 1-800-ROOF-BLU on Wednesday, when the correct phone number was actually 1-888-ROOF-BLU (888 instead of 800, whoops!).

When calling the 1-800 number, survivors heard the message: “Welcome to America’s hottest talk line. Guys, hot ladies are waiting to talk to you. Press ‘1’ to connect, free, now,” according to the Miami Herald. FEMA has since deleted the tweet—and hasn’t yet commented about the wrong phone number. Here at NiteFlirt, we understand the importance of providing true relief to the people.
