You remember “Samantha,” the sex robot with a “family mode”? Well, apparently Samantha can do more than crack jokes and rattle off philosophy to your loved ones—she can also cum. The creators of the hyper-realistic sex robot created a sensor-filled artificial G-spot to simulate an orgasm.
This might sound like something straight out of Westworld, but these dolls are already being sold for a whopping $4,713 in the UK. The Spanish company that created it, Synthea Amatus, is also now at work on a male version. It seems Samantha is just another advance in the popular world of human-robot sex—which robot experts say could lead to human-robot marriage being legalized by 2050.
