It only makes sense that with the rising costs of college, there’s a rising number of ‘sugar babies.’ College has become so expensive that students are paying for their education by using ‘sugar daddy’ websites. Dating website Seeking Arrangements has unveiled its list of schools with the most sugar babies.
Georgia State University in Atlanta nabbed the top spot, with more than 1,300 students registered as sugar babies. University of Central Florida came in second place, followed by University of Alabama, Florida State University and University of Florida. “I like men in the higher caliber, so I look for that,” says a 21-year-old student who’s used the dating service for more than two years. “I was in need of financial help and things like that and I wasn’t really looking like something like a commitment because I’m in college.”
