Three’s company on the latest episode of HGTV’s “House Hunters.” The popular home improvement show finally embraced kinky couples with its first-ever “throuple,” or a relationship with three partners. The trio sought to find the perfect house: Brian, Lori, their two children, plus Geli, whom they met at a bar and fell in love with.
“I understood from day one, even when we were dating, that Lori was bisexual, and interested in women and men. And so, we evolved to a point where we were comfortable having another woman in our lives,” Brian told the cameras in the episode. Many viewers praised HGTV for their inclusion of the unorthodox relationship, which isn’t too surprising considering 5% of Americans enjoy a relationship that involves more than two people, and 20% have at least attempted some form of ethical non-monogamy. Here’s to kinky real estate!
