A new sex toy is too hot to handle—literally. Divine’s Vibrating Pearl Love Egg has an “internal fault,” according to UK’s Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS). It means the vibrator could heat up if the batteries are inserted incorrectly.
“This may pose a burn risk to customers,” the government agency said. Because of this, the Chinese manufacturer is asking customers who bought the remote control devices with the batch code BN2303 to return them: “If you’ve bought an affected product, please don’t use it,” Divine said. The dodgy toys were sold by Tesco, Superdrug and Amazon—customers are being directed to return them to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
