Figure skater Adam Rippon was prepared for the Olympics in more way than one. LGBTQ-hero Rippon—who became a breakout star after winning bronze in the 2018 PyeongChang Games—told a naughty anecdote on Al Roker’s show. He said he had heard stories in the media about Olympians going through countless condoms in the Olympic Village, so when he got to his dorm and didn’t find any, he was disappointed.
Rippon said that it was only when he went to a medical center for a routine drug test that he spotted a stockpile. He told Roker that staff told him those were the only condoms available, and he said, “I walked over with my backpack, and I dumped maybe 2,000 condoms into my backpack.” Rippon knows how to really winat the big games!
