Barbra Streisand revealed in her upcoming novel, My Name Is Barbra, that screen legend Marlon Brando propositioned her for sex prior to them becoming close friends. Streisand opens her memoir by detailing the time that Brando approached her at a party in 1966 and told her, “I’d like to fuck you.”
According to an excerpt from the novel, Brando’s wife at the time was also at the party in an adjoining room. Despite Bab’s initial rejection, the star refused to back down and asked her once again while the pair were taking a drive in the 1970s. “He wanted to go to the desert to see the wildflowers,” Streisand said, adding, “He wanted to stay overnight.”
