BuzzFeed’s recent poll asked 100,000 users about their sexting habits, and the results were pretty surprising. BuzzFeed found that only around 53% send nude pics, while the other 47% opt out of the sexy swapping. And for those who are all about putting into action the saying, “show me yours and I’ll show you mine,” the poll found that Snapchat was the second most popular place to send nude pics (besides texting).
Even more interesting, a shocking 88% said they’ve at one time sent an accidental sext to the wrong person! Whoops! BuzzFeed also said, “A little more than a quarter of respondents (27%) said they’ve sent nudes to someone they’ve never even met in real life. And while most people only send nudes to people they’re in a committed relationship with, nearly a quarter have sent nudes to people they’re just hooking up with.” Last, the poll found that most people “recycle” nude pics, meaning they send the same one to multiple people. That’s what we call efficiency!
