A hospital in China is under scrutiny after showing patients a bit too much entertainment in the waiting room. Shocked patients had to flee the room after X-rated footage appeared on a TV screen while waiting to see their dentists. The “accidental” incident was shown in a video filmed by an eyewitness who can be heard saying, “I am in Chang’an Hospital. What are they playing in broad daylight? It’s too much.”
The spokesperson said officers had checked the relevant equipment, including the TV set and Wi-Fi devices, but were yet to find the culprit. Porn is strictly illegal in China, and people who produce, re-produce, publish, sell or spread pornographic content can be sentenced up to life imprisonment. Earlier this year, a 28-year-old man in the Chinese city of Wuhan was arrested after intentionally hacking into a restaurant’s Wi-Fi system and broadcasting explicit content on TV screens.
