Everyone knows the best yoga is naked yoga. But apparently not everyone knows that you can be arrested for it in public. A 34-year-old man recently found out the hard way, after he stripped down at Planet Fitness and began exercising in the nude.
“The story we got from witnesses was that the guy walked in, stripped down right there in front, left the clothes and belongings at the front desk, walked back and forth across the gym a couple of times and then settled in over at the yoga mats,” the New Hampshire police captain said. After police found him in a nude “yoga-type position,” he was charged with indecent exposure, lewdness and disorderly conduct. “The only comment he made was that he thought it was a judgment-free zone, apparently referencing their slogan,” said the police captain.
