Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) has found a new focus for her condemnation of American society: butt plugs. Greene took the stage at the New York Young Republicans Club gala to announce to a room full of people in fancy dresses that butt plugs are now on sale at Target and CVS. “By the way, you can pick up a butt plug or a dildo at Target and CVS nowadays. I don’t even know how we got here. …This is the state that we’re living in right now,” she said.
She was echoing a segment on Tucker Carlson’s show about the supposed crisis of being able to buy sex toys with relative ease. Fox News talked about finding “Tush Cush,” “Buzzy Butt,” and other adult products in a CVS—to which Carlson responded, “But it’s immoral to buy Marlboros. Blows my mind.” One thing’s for sure, MTG’s inadvertent plug for butt plugs and dildos at Target led everyone in attendance at that gala to have a really fun night.
