The owner of a popular swingers bar in Melbourne called Between Friends Wine Bar has lifted the lid on his celebrity clientele. “We have had rock stars come in. Some people come in using pseudonyms, some are incognito,” he said on a recent podcast. He also said several high-profile AFL and cricket players have also frequented his bar, including Shane Warne.
“It is huge. I take great pride in the fact that we have had lawyers, doctors, teachers, police and celebrities,” he said of the famous clientele. “We have been doing this for two years and you would think you would run out of the pool of people interested in the lifestyle, but it just goes from strength to strength,” he added. He believes the big appeal of the venue is that it’s a safe and non-judgmental environment perfect for both returning patrons and newcomers.
