Americans think sex on vacation is the best, with or without their partner. More than 52% of LELO survey participants revealed they had the best sex of their lives while on vacation—and a whopping 42% revealed it was during a steamy affair. The survey also showed that 74% of singles are eager to meet someone on their next adventure, while 26% of those in relationships say they’re up for a summer romance this year.
2,000 sexually active adults who took part in the survey described vacation sex as “exciting, spontaneous and intense,” involving “a lot of role reversal and experimental activities,” and “fun because it was forbidden like a romance novel.” But what happens on vacation should probably stay on vacation—the vast majority said that the end of the trip should be the end of the fling, with 37% fairly certain a one-night stand is plenty. That said, eight in 10 are eager to bring this electric energy home to invigorate their sex lives.
