Learning about sex from a porn star might be every male college student’s fantasy. That’s why adult film entertainer Tasha Reign is meeting with fraternities to teach college guys about sexual consent. She’s on a mission to educate young men about sex since studies show 9 out of 10 learn about it from porn.
She argues, “you wouldn’t learn to drive from Vin Diesel in Fast and the Furious; you shouldn’t learn how to have sex from adult films.” Tasha is using her experience in adult films—along with her degree in Women’s Studies from UCLA—to talk with fraternities about what consensual sex looks like (hint: alcohol is not an ingredient that goes well with consent). She says she gets through to “some of the boys some of the time,” but that they’re always appreciative for the honest discussions about sex they’re able to have with her.
