Researchers took a look at more than 40 sex terms that were Googled across the US and determined each state’s most-searched fetish. “Frisky Googlers in Nevada and Indiana are going wild for armpits, New Mexicans are titillated by chastity belts, and Alabama has an affinity for Goop-approved yoni eggs — egg-shaped hunks of jade made for the vagina that supposedly elevate orgasms,” reports NY Post. Sports gear has residents in Kansas, Mississippi and Wisconsin going wild, while uniforms get Ohioans hot.
Texans prefer whipping in the bedroom, and masochism—gaining pleasure from your own pain—is the most popular fetish in Colorado, Washington, DC, Maryland and South Dakota. It seems “looners” live in Virginia, with balloons as their No. 1 fetish. The top three searched-for terms throughout all 50 states are masochism, group sex and sadism.
