Sex toy company Lovehoney recently surveyed 4,500 people about their sexual fantasies, and the findings are giving sexperts important insights about what keeps a relationship staying lusty. It seems a surprising number of men and women fantasize about having sex with an ex-partner, which according to professionals, is actually very healthy. “Fantasies allow monogamous couples to get all the pleasure of ‘new’ sex without the pain of broken hearts and relationship,” an expert said.
Sexperts are also saying that planning fun activities and acting on sexual urges no matter how preoccupied you might be are the ingredients to maintaining a satisfying sex life long-term. “Lust is primitive, wild and edgy. We need risk and a hint of danger to continue to see our partners as sexual beings,” one expert said. The most important thing is just to make time for regular sex—whether it’s a quickie or a long, luxurious fuck-fest, be sure to get it on with your partner!
