SNL had viewers gagging over its glory hole sketch in the most recent episode. The hottest restaurant in New York City just happened to be one of the hottest places in town for anonymous sex—back in the 70s. That’s right, glory holes are all the rage at this edgy place, because as one customer explained “Stop being a prude and eat the corn out of a glory hole!” (watch the sketch below).
“Well, back in the day this building was one of the most infamous underground sex parlors in the meat packing district,” Aidy Bryant explained to her confused out of town friends. “People would come here and they would stick their business through those holes.” The trendy new restaurant had a great idea for how to use the glory holes: rather than get rid of them, they’ve been repurposed into food serving stations! Want some bread? Wrap your mouth around a firm loaf right from the convenience of your glory hole! “I like how salty it is!” exclaimed one very satisfied customer.
