Taylor Swift Considers Legal Action Against Deepfake Porn Site After Images Go Viral

Taylor Swift is “furious” about the AI images that have gone viral online—and is considering legal action against the deepfake porn site hosting them. Dozens of XXX images were uploaded to the site showing Swift in a series of sexual acts while dressed in Kansas City Chief memorabilia and in the stadium. A source close to Swift said: “Whether or not legal action will be taken is being decided but there is one thing that is clear: these fake AI generated images are abusive, offensive, exploitative, and done without Taylor’s consent and/or knowledge.”

They continued: “The door needs to be shut on this. Legislation needs to be passed to prevent this and laws must be enacted.” Deepfake sites hide in plain sight, seemingly cloaked by proxy IP addresses, and are then reposted on social media. There are mounting calls for the website to be taken down and for its operators to be criminally investigated.
