Some symbols of power are loud, obvious, and impossible to miss. Others are subtle, waiting for those worthy enough to notice. In Princess Giulia’s case, the symbol is small, green, and carved in jade.
“I have these little knick-knacks that are green jade dragons. Nietzsche has a famous parable in his book ‘Thus Spake Zarathustra’ about the three metamorphoses of the spirit, and the second phase is the phase where the spirit becomes the Lion who must conquer the Dragon of traditional values, and be willing to say ‘No,’ and be the exception to the rule, in order to create ‘space for freedom for oneself.’ I really like that imagery, and I have featured the green dragon knick-knacks in some videos I posted to Instagram, so I am going to say that those are one unexpected symbol of my dominance.”
For Princess Giulia, these dragons aren’t just decor — they’re a reminder of the courage it takes to defy the expected. They’re about breaking rules with purpose, about claiming space for your own freedom.
To serve her is to stand before the dragon, to acknowledge the weight of tradition, and then to submit to a new order entirely of her design.
And trust us, in her world, slaying the dragon doesn’t mean defeating her. It means surrendering to her.
