Whoopi Goldberg revealed why she prefers older men during a racy conversation on The View as she discussed the 16-year age gap between the characters in the new movie, The Idea of You. The beloved actor—who wrote in her new memoir that she prefers what she calls “hit and runs” these days—couldn’t resist sharing her thoughts when cohost Joy Behar claimed: “Women peak older, sexually, and men peak younger.”
“There’s an issue I just want to point out, there’s some things you have to give to older men, okay? Because they know their way around,” the star said before adding: “You don’t have to explain a lot of stuff, you might have to point stuff out, but you don’t have to explain it!” She explained in her memoir why she prefers casual sex: “It’s all about a ‘hit and run.’ And I have them only with someone who completely understands that this is only a ‘hit and run.’” She continued: “I don’t even want to have to toss empty beer bottles in the recycle bin after somebody hung out too long. I don’t need anybody to stick around after that at all.”
