Yoga Moves For a Better Sex Life

sexyyogaEveryone knows yoga feels great, but what if we told you that practicing certain poses can actually improve your sex life? It’s true. Different poses can increase your flexibility, improve your focus, and tighten your pelvic floor muscles—all things that are key to better sex. So here are the best yoga poses to help you have a great sex life.

Sun Salute
This is the pose where you stand very straight, big toes touching, with your pelvis tucked in and your arms hanging as if weights were attached. A long-time yogi suggests doing one to five salutes per day to practice improving your attention, which is great for learning how to zone in on what’s going on with your mind and body during sex (sort of like tantric sex).
Mula Bandha
This is the original kegels. Sit or stand in a relaxed position, then “Squeeze the muscles at the bottom of the pelvic floor, behind the cervix. Contract slowly, then release slowly. Repeat 15 times.” Tightening the pelvic floor muscles will help keep everything tight and ready for increased sexual pleasure.
Shoulder Stand
This is basically a back-bend. The yogi says it’s good for sex because “Shoulder Stand helps your circulation and hormonal balance. It also gives you a bit of a new perspective you may need to discover your personal ecstasy.”
