Prancing for the right to be who you are!

All of us at NiteFlirt  are really big fans of people who fight for the right to be themselves. And we couldn’t be more impressed with the Prancing Elites.

Our friends over at Gawker shared a clip from Oxygen’s new reality show The Prancing Elites Project where  the dance team performs at a local parade despite the slew of hateful comments being yelled at them as they make their way down the route.

The clip didn’t leave a dry eye in the office.

At the end of the clip, a young girl is very upset at how people treated the Elites.  Kentrell, the team’s captain, comforted her by summing up why they danced after being told they couldn’t, “We’re not trying to change people, we’re just letting people know that we’re different, and it’s OK to be who we are.”

Amen, Kentrell. AMEN!

Grab some Kleenex and check out the clip over at Gawker.
