The latest in VR adult entertainment is “virtual sex with real people,” which uses virtual reality, teledildonics, and lifelike sex dolls to simulate sex with a live cam girl. Using a VR headset and a RealDoll to simulate the physical interaction, participants will feel as though they’re really having sex with the model. RealDoll’s “love dolls” will be equipped with what the company is calling “a high tech male masturbator” to mimic the sensations of real-life sex.
The experience will also use teledildonics by pairing a device inside the RealDoll with a Bluetooth rabbit vibrator that a cam model will be using in real-time. “Essentially, users will be able to live out their ultimate sex fantasies, and quench their immediate desires, in an immersive sensory environment that allows them to have real sex with virtual partners,” said a spokesperson. While that may sound thrilling, this immersive experience is probably a bit out of reach for most—apart from a VR headset, users would need to buy a RealDoll that ranges from $1,500 (for just the torso) to $10,000 depending on customization.
