CNN posted an article about a recent cuckolding study published in the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior that got many peoples’ panties in a twist. The study surveyed a large sample of gay men about their cuckolding fantasies, and compared the results to research done on straight men’s cuckolding fantasies. Here’s what CNN wrote: “The numbers suggest that cuckolding, or at least thinking about it, is more common than you might imagine. [The researcher] surveyed thousands of Americans and found that 58% of men and about a third of women had fantasized about cuckolding.”
After CNN posted the story, Paul Joseph Watson, an editor of InfoWars, slammed CNN for the “salacious” story. But an author of the study defended the story, telling Gizmodo that “The research indicates that it is extremely likely that many of his followers enjoy this sexual fantasy.” He also pointed out that many people who publicly criticize sexual acts, sometimes secretly want them. “I always get sad and concerned when I see people publicly shaming healthy, normative sexual fantasies and behaviors. Hopefully by opening this dialogue, some of his followers might feel less shame and concern about their fantasies.” So there you have it: there’s nothing wrong with being a willing cuckold!
