Horror and porn fans rejoice: A24’s new film “X” is both. The film starts with a crew of adult film stars who set out to shoot at an old Texas farmhouse in 1979. But their mysterious, elderly hosts won’t stop watching them.
Then the group encounters weird disturbances and the occult as they attempt to shoot their XXX film. Fans shared their excitement for the genre bending flick: “Love the ’70s horror period piece. Right down to the ’70s cinematography. This has a cross between ‘Boogie Nights’ and ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre,’ count me in,” one user commented below the trailer. Another squealed, “This looks fucking great. A24 definitely pushes the envelope with their films. Looks fun and genuinely terrifying. One of my most anticipated films now!”
