If there were ever a time I’d be a skeptic it would be now! According to divorce life coach Cindy Holbrook the best person to fuck post divorce is a friend. WOW, I would almost think that would be the worst candidate, but Holbrook is the expert. He proclaims on Huffington Post Live: “I always recommend…to try to find a good friend that you can have a casual love affair with that you know is not going to go any place else.” Oh bologna, do casual love affairs really exist?
Post breakup is a vulnerable time for anyone, so the emotional aftermath of a divorce has to be catastrophic. I can understand where Holbrook thinks boning a friend is a genius idea, you feel safe with this person, trust is established, there might already be a underlying physical attraction so why not go for it!? Holbrook goes on to say that many things could ruin a friendship, sex definitely could be one of them but no one can predict the future so why not test out the waters, the possibility of something fabulous could come from the therapeutic hump. The lady does have a point!
