Quebec’s Ministry of Health really put their foot in their mouth. The Canadian agency apologized after accidentally tweeting a link to a Pornhub video instead of government COVID data. To its more than 103,000 Twitter followers, the ministry tweeted a link to foot-fetish porn—and more than a half-hour passed before officials corrected the error.
Many were able to save grabs of the error on Twitter as dozens flocked to mock the ministry over the scandal. One Twitter user wrote, “Free porn brought to you by your government,” while another added, “Now THAT’S the Covid information we’ve all been looking for!” One person quipped, “It’s because we’re going to erect, oops, elections.”
