The First Wearable ‘Erection Tracker’ Is Here To Help With Mens’ Health

There’s a new cock ring—but this one isn’t for getting off. A ring worn around the penis could help men figure out what’s causing their erectile dysfunction, and could even signal a deadly disease. The first wearable “erection tracker” can indicate several physical and mental health problems men face.

The Adam Sensor, made by Adam Health, is attached to the base of the penis and worn overnight to count the number of erections a man has during sleep (healthy men usually have 3 to 5 a night). Depending on whether or not a man can get nighttime erections, doctors are able to determine whether ER is psychological or biological, and treat the problem from there. “People count their steps, monitor the glucose, their sleep or fitness — it might be part of the quantitative health men are interested in,” say the makers of the device.
