First Pornhub gave premium access to people in Italy quarantined for the coronavirus, and now sex toy sales are booming due to the pandemic. Adult toy brand Womanizer said projections it made for sales are “well above average,” mainly in areas largely affected by the virus. In Italy sex toy purchases are trending 60 per cent above the forecast; in France it’s 40 per cent; in Canada it’s 135 per cent. In the United States it’s 75 per cent, and Hong Kong it’s 71 per cent.
The brand’s top seller is the Womanizer Premium which will allow for women to masturbate more often, particularly if they have less access to their partner due to quarantine. “We-Vibe Chorus is already low in stock as people have shown increased interest during this time,’ Head of Sexual Empowerment at Womanizer said. “This could be due to the fact that the We-Connect app allows partners to control vibrations remotely, or for couples who are in work from home conditions together.”
